A special thanks to all who took part in the event and helped make it a success. The event, organized by the 751 Women's Committee, raised over $9,000 for Guide Dogs of America and donations were still coming in as the paper went to print.
Participants were impressed with the chip timing which recorded each runner's personal time in crossing the finish line. Click here to view a list of the winners or to check your personal time.
Special thanks to three 751 members who turned in impressive contributions
for Guide Dogs. The top three fundraisers were:
1) Debbie Anderson $930 (as well as getting many prizes donated)
2) Kelly Burrus-Haniger $417
3) Denise Hubbs $270

Also a special thanks to Brownie Troop 2047, who again gave much needed encouragement as runners crossed the finish line. The Brownies handed out towells, water bottles, ribbons, and collected the chip timers.

The
Women's Committee also presented a special award to the Boeing
Everett Amateur Radio Operators North Society (BEARONS), who have
volunteered to help with the event each year. This group sets
up a base station at the start finish line and has operators spread
out on the course to provide assistance to any runners who might
need help.
