It's Our Time This Time - Attend the Final Countdown Rally on Sunday, August 24th at 12:30 pm. Meet in the DoubleTree Hotel parking lot (18740 International Blvd, SeaTac). Let Boeing know we are serious about making improvements in ALL areas of the contract.

Union members and their families join Union negotiators to march from the DoubleTree Hotel to Angle Lake Park. Members will hear up-to-date information from the bargaining table and get first hand reports so you can make an informed decision on September 3rd!

Negotiations Update
We are just one week away from entering the hotel for round-the-clock negotiations and so far, the Company has failed miserably in their attempt to guide our members to accepting a lesser offer than what our members rightfully deserve.

As we reported last week, the Union made public their proposal on just one item, raising the rates for all members within the progression steps by $4.50 an hour. The Company needs to start bringing meaningful proposals to the table and get down to real negotiations. The Union leadership has been trying to get Boeing to move toward addressing your issues, but have been constantly told by Company negotiators they are “Not Interested” in addressing your issues.

The Company put their proposals out there and you told them a resounding NO WAY! It’s Our Time…This Time!

Here is just a sampling of areas where the Company has stated they are “not interested”
· Improving Health Care benefits and reducing out of pocket – Not Interested if it’s just improvements for the members
· Shortening Progression steps – Not Interested
· 2nd and 3rd shift differential increase – Not Interested
· Improved COLA formula – Not Interested
· Reducing Early Retirement Penalty – Not Interested
· Improving the Alternate Retirement Formula – Not Interested
· COLA for Retirees – Not Interested
· Increase for existing retirees – Not Interested
· Eliminating LOU 37 Material Delivery – Not Interested

Not Interested - Not Acceptable
The Company has stated and believes they know “their employees” well enough to continue not addressing the issues. They don’t believe you are as fired up over these issues as we have been voicing on your behalf.

Please take the time to express your opinion about the Company’s offers made public to date:
· Boeing wants to eliminate pension for your children and those who will come later.
· Boeing wants to increase the minimum rates by a meager $1.28 for future hires. Most current members will not receive even one penny of this increase unless they fall below the new minimum rates.
· Boeing wants to increase the Team Leader pay by $ .25 cents and not address the issues with the language itself.
