Strike Update -- October 10, 2008

Union negotiators stand ready to deploy on a moment's notice and are awaiting the mediator's direction to begin this new round of talks.

Remember tomorrow's strike check distribution (October 11) for the north site has moved to Marysville Pilchuck High School (5611 108^th St. NE). Click Here for a MAP. This move is for tomorrow only (October 11, 2008). Again, for those with a north site check pickup tomorrow GO TO MARYSVILLE PILCHUCK HIGH SCHOOL (not Evergreen Fairgrounds in Monroe).

Also members living in the 98058 zip code in Renton will begin picking up their checks at Green River Community College starting tomorrow. The 98058 zip code will pick up at Green River for the remainder of the strike.

ATTENTION: Members who pick up strike checks at Evergreen Fairgrounds in Monroe. This Saturday, October 11, 2008 -- one time ONLY-- the north site check distribution will move from the Monroe Fairgrounds to Marysville Pilchuck High School (5611 108^th St. NE, Marysville). Click here for flyer with map to the high school. Look for IAM Parking signs. Check distribution will be in the high school gym.

ALSO: Members living in the 98058 Renton zip code will begin picking their checks up at Green River Community College. The 98058 will pick up at Green River for the remainder of the strike.
