Description

Federal contractor is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic to perform organizational, intermediate and depot level maintenance / modification on contract units, subsystems, support equipment and related weapons systems. Will advise team members and solve unusual maintenance problems by analysis and tests on airframes, engines, flight controls, pneudraulic / fuel / electrical / electronic systems, on UH-1V and UH-60 type aircraft.

 

Applicants must have a minimum of 36 months experience in positions with equivalent duties and responsibilities, and specific expertise in the aircraft listed (must be reflected in resume). Applicants must have reliable transportation (valid license, current registration & proof of insurance are necessary to drive on military base), and own common hand tools. All successful candidates must pass pre-employment drug screening.

 

Pay is $22.04 / hour + benefits (medical, dental, vision, life & STD ins.; 401(k); paid holidays, sick & vacation leave). Hours are 7:00

a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Fort Lewis contractor is looking for experienced Aircraft Structural workers, to repair, replace and rebuild aircraft structures and functional

components, using hand and power tools, rivet gun, and drills. Will inspect and repair cracked components, replace & repair damaged components.

May service airframe at flight line operations, making repairs required to ensure aircraft safe operating condition; may specialize in repair &

modification of structural components, precision repair, functional spare parts, and assemblies on UH-1V, UH-60 aircraft.
