IAM Member Appreciation Day - Saturday, July 14 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at both the Puyallup Fairgrounds and Evergreen Fairgrounds in Monroe

This is your invitation to fun at the Fair on Saturday, July 14 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. 751 Fair Day is the Union’s way to say “Thank You” to our members, retirees and their families.

Watch for a mailing in early July that will include your ticket to fun for one Union Member and one accompanying adult. Children do not need a ticket. The only cost will be games of chance, food and beverages – or you may bring a picnic lunch.

Two locations (Puyallup Fairgrounds, 110 9th Ave SW, and Evergreen Fairgrounds in Monroe, 14405 179th Ave SE), so choose the one most convenient and join us for a day of fun. Gates open at 10 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.

Kids’ Rides include: SillyVille Train, Carousel, Dizzy Dragon, Mini Enterprises, Raiders, Toon Cars, Dragon Chase, Dragon Wagon, Coaster.

Family/Thrill Rides include: Giant Slide, Tilt A Whirl, Sizzler, Orbiter, Ferris Wheel, Octopus, Moon Raker, Mardi Gras Mirror Maze, Gravitron.

In addition, other features include: DJ & karaoke, Game Theater, Rock Wall, Face Painters, Giant Hamster Balls, Wacky World Inflatable, Animal Petting Farm, Mobile R/C Car Racing, Monkey Motion Bungee, Carousel Bouncer, Inflatable Slide.

Kids’ Rides includes: Carousel, Down Surge, Sooper Jet Coaster, Super Slide, Bounce House, Toon Town Theater, Fun House.

Family/Thrill Rides includes: Ferris Wheel, Sizzler, Gravitron, Wind Glider, Typhoon, Wacky Worm Coaster, Ring of Fire

In addition, other features include: DJ & karaoke, Interactive games, 2 Zip Lines, Face Painters, Climbing Wall, Go-karts, Mini-golf, Pony Rides, Walk on Water Balls

In addition at the Evergreen Fairgrounds, members are welcome to attend the Arabian Horse Show at the Equestrian Park free of charge.

On the adjacent property, the Evergreen Speedway is holding the NAPA 150 NASCAR K&N Pro Series West. They are offering a special discount for any Machinists Union members and their families who want to attend their event. Adult & Jr tickets (regularly $25) will be $15 for Machinists Union members and their guests, children ages 7-12 will be $5 and under age 6 get in free. Simply show your wristband from the “Machinists Fair” for your special discount.

Finally, there is also a WAC Gun Show on the Evergreen Fairgrounds that day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Commercial Bldg. Admission is $8 per person.

Again, watch for a mailing to your home in early July, which includes your ticket to a day of fun!
