75th Anniversary T Shirts
Local Lodge 751 was chartered by the America Federation of Labor on Sept. 23, 1935, to represent hourly workers at the Boeing Co. in Seattle
In the 75 years since then, the Union has grown to become one of the International Association of Machinists & Aerospace Workers’ largest districts, representing not only aerospace machinists, but a wide range of truck, bus and auto mechanics, machine operators, boat builders, metal fabricators and government employees, as well as other skilled workers, across Washington state and parts of Oregon and Idaho.
We’re now into our fourth generation of proud Union Machinists, and our mission today is the same as it was in the time of our great-grandparents: ensure better jobs for our members, and build better communities for them to live in. The Union supports its members, and our members support their communities, to the benefit of all.
