Throughout the months of July and August, the 751 Women's Committee is holding a school supply drive to help provide much-needed school supplies to children of laid-off Union members. The new school supplies and backpacks will go to children who might not otherwise receive these important tools for learning.

The Puget Sound Labor Agency will help distribute the supplies collected to laid-off Union members throughout the region so their children will have new supplies to start the school year in September.

You can help by dropping off any of the following supplies to any Union hall or to your Steward. The Women's Committee will have a barrel at the Local Lodge meetings in July and August for Stewards to leave the supplies.

Suggested supplies that are needed include:
· Backpacks
· Zipper cases
· Pocketed Folders
· Paper (both wide and college rule)
· Plastic Rulers
· Protractors
· Notebook Dividers
· 3 Ring Notebooks (2" & 3")
· Crayons
· Red Pens
· Black Pens
· Pencils

Other ideas welcomed.
