The Orange County Quilters Guild in California created a beautiful quilt for Guide Dogs of America's 50th Anniversary last year. The quilt was sent here for our Women's Committee to help raise more money for GDA. We are selling raffle tickets for this dog-themed quilt for $1.00 each and the drawing will be held at the October 24th District Council this fall. Our Committee is still working hard to prepare for our 5th Annual Flight for Sight Fun Run on May 20th to benefit Guide Dogs. We encourage you to get your pledges in before May 15th to make race day registration an easier process. Our 1 mile walk or 5k and 10k runs mean anyone can participate. But it is not too late to sign up as a volunteer-we still can use your help. We hope to see you there. Thanks.
