After layoff, you MUST file for your Category A recall rights through Worklife. This can be difficult to navigate so we are providing a step-by-step pdf to assist you. File ONLY for the jobs and locations you are willing to accept. Be aware that after recall, it will be a minimum of one year before you are allowed to transfer locations. Click here for the pdf. NEW 12/9/20: Washington State job search is optional through Jan. 19, 2021 on UI claims. As long as job search requirements are suspended, you may answer "no" to the job search question on your weekly unemployment claim and you do not need to request standby. Also the wait week waiver expires on Dec. 21. Anyone who applies for a new unemployment claim after Dec. 21 will have to serve the wait week.
